The WETT Continuing Education Requirements
WETT Inc. requires continuing education as part of its certification renewal process to ensure that certificate holders stay current with industry developments and maintain a high level of competency in residential wood-energy technology. Five years after certification is awarded, and every five years thereafter, each certificate holder must earn a minimum of one continuing education credit in order to remain eligible for certification renewal.
Until further WETT courses are developed, members will be allowed to retake courses to fulfil their continuing education requirement.
Continuing Education Timeline
Most WETT courses automatically result in a five-year CE extension. Alternately, members can take one of the approved non-WETT courses. These courses all have a one-year CE extension.
